Community partnerships and projects

As a registered charity, we aim to support community activities to benefit the surrounding communities we want to serve. We've developed some really strong and innovative partnerships with local specialists, which we hope will benefit us and the community for the future.

Foundation of Light

We are really happy to have an agreement with the Foundation of Light - enabling us to offer holiday camps for kids, as well as working together to support the Foundation's objectives and help achieve our community engagement strategies.

Age UK Durham

We're looking to grow opportunities for AGE UK Durham members to visit our site on a regular basis, providing a community hub for various opportunities ranging from exercise to just a general catch-up and cuppa.

Groundworks North East

Offering members of the community the opportunity to gain work experience- which hopefully ends up in them gaining further education and/or paid or volunteering opportunities within workplaces is a key project for us moving forward.

Volunteering Strategy

As a volunteer-led charity, we survive only by the dedication of our volunteers and we value everything they do. We are implementing a Volunteering Strategy for all our Youth Teams, so they feel part of the club and we help give them something in terms of work experience.
