Chester crashed to a 4-0 defeat at home to Heaton Stannington. Chester came close to taking the lead after 11 minutes when Kallum Hampson-Broadhead fired in a shot from the edge of the area which keeper Jonathan Ball kept out a full stretch and he then recovered quickly to gather the bal before Bailey Prudhoe could reach the loose ball. After 33 minutes, Daniel Sayer was sent clear down the left and cut into the area to fire in a shot which Maximiliano Coombes palmed behind. Chester were awarded a penalty in first-half stoppage time when Nathan Wade was fouled but Alexander saw his weak penalty easily saved by Ball. Heaton made the breakthrough after 47 minutes when his shot from the edge of the area crept in at the near post. Heaton doubled their lead after 58 minutes when a corner from the left was played into Daniel Sayer and he turned well to fire in to the net. Heaton extended their lead after 60 minutes when a free kick was played across from the left and it ran through for Bradley Fielder to score. Fielder completed the scoring after 68 minutes. Heaton came close to a fifth goal after 82 minutes when Morgan Paterson curled a free kick around the wall but it crashed clear off the bar.
