Chester le Street Town  met Ryton & CA at home with both clubs have an identical record from their two victories. Ryton took the lead after 4 minutes. A ball into the middle was headed towards goal and Nathan Armin made a good save to tip the ball over the bar. However, from the corner Philip Hodges ran in unchallenged to power in a header. After 6 minutes Craig Marron hit a corner into the middle but Owen Lancaster headed over the bar. Ryton doubled their lead after 16 minutes. Armin failed to collect a highball into the area and it broke left to Scott Jasper and he quickly passed the ball back for Jamie Dunn to score. Ryton came close to a third goal after 33 minutes when a mistake by Aaron Reynolds let in Jasper. He crossed the ball into the middle to the unmarked Jamie Thompson but he failed to get a good contact on the ball and it went behind. Ryton did extend their lead after 38 minutes when Jack Cooper hit a great free-kick into the net. Ryton scored their fourth goal after 53 minutes when Kevin Dixon lost possession just outside the area and Cooper fired home. After 67 minutes, a ball into the area found Anthony Lee and he quickly passed on to Lee Blades but keeper David Hansen was quickly down to block the shot. Ryton scored their fifth goal after 70 minutes when Jasper was left unmarked to power in a header from a corner. Ryton completed their victory after 75 minutes. A corner from the right was headed towards the goal and Armin made a good block but it fell for Callum Turnbull to fire in. A very disappointing result but Ryton were much better than us on the day. We also made too many individual errors, all of which were punished.
