Chester le Street Town went down to a single goal defeat in their penultimate League fixture of the season. Missing a number of players, those that did play combined to produce a very good hardworking display, They eventually went down to a 38 minute Dean Sexton goal.

The Cestrians kicked up the bank in the first half and were quickly into their game , however the decisive goal came from a Cestrian corner which was cleared downfield to Matty Moffat and with two defender chasing him the ball richoched to the unmarked Dean Sexton to go on a fire past Max Coombes. Play was end to end with Chester le Street forcing two good saves from the Willington keeper and a defender who cleared a shot off teh line. Dean Sexton did have another chance but fired his shot against the post from a tight angle
