Chester le Street put in a solid performance against their first division opponents in the Durham Challenge Cup 2nd Round Tie . They fell behind on 18 mins following good work which was converted by striker Andre Vasile Ardelean . Aycliffe moved the ball about quickly but the Cestrians rose to the occasion with Elliot Judson having the only noteable opportunity to pull a goal back in the second half and it wasn’t until 5 mins from time that Liam Jarvie converted a good cross by Jake Petijean to seal the tie in Aycliffe’s favour
