Chester le Street Town Ladies travelled to Sheffield on Sunday to face Steel City Wanderers in the Womens FA Cup and came away with a resounding 8-1 victory, even though having to make changes from last weeks squad.

They went ahead after 13 mins through Elizabeth Clarke -Thompson, with Steel City on equal terms after 20 mins The Cestrian Ladies then went 2-1 up again through the efforts of Elizabeth Clarke – Thompson on 33 mins and that was the score at half time.

The second half brought an onslaught of goals with Clarke- Thompson completing her hat trick on 52 mins. This was followed by Nichole Havery also scoring a hat trick and Laura Hockaday weighing in with 2 goals to complete the rout

On Sunday 30 September Chester le Street Town Ladies travel to Bolton Wanderers in an FA Womens National League  1 Northern game
