
Chester le Street Town made the trip to Northumberland and came away with a 3-2 win at Bedlington Terriers. Chester took the lead after 10 minute. A ball into the Bedlington area was not cleared and Jack Oliver played it back for Kieran Megran to fire in. After 20 minutes, Adam Harvey found some space to fire in a good shot with Aaron Steavens making a good save. Steavens had to make another good block from the second attempt with Bradley Higgins firing the rebound over the bar. Two minutes later the ball was played down the right for Higgins to cut in a fire in a shot which Steavens managed to turn around the post. After 48 minutes, Bedlington made a break down the right and with the Chester defence claiming offside, Higgins fired in the equaliser. After 54 minutes Daniel McGuire fired in a great shot from 30 yards with keeper Cameron Armstrong making a great save to prevent Chester regaining the lead. Two minutes later, Craig Marron curled the ball over from the left and Megran ran in to fire in a shot which brought another good save from Armstrong. Chester did regain the lead a minute later as Alexander Walker headed in from a corner. After 71 minutes, Megran made ground down the right to hit a good cross into the middle for Oliver to head in. Bedlington pulled a goal back in the last minutes as Ronnie Jones turned in a low cross from the right
