Chester le Street Town were forced to make several changes due to injuries and work commitments for this game against second bottom Brandon United and ended up being held to a 3-3 draw . Chester made a good start and took the lead after 4 minutes Alex White hit a corner from the right into the middle and when the ball was cleared back to him he crossed to the far side to Thomas Iley. His shot was blocked but Kevin Dixon was quickest to react and fire in the rebound. Chester doubled their lead after 13 minutes when Daniel McGuire was sent clear down the middle. He went around the keeper but was forced wide right. He turned to pull the ball back for Alex White to fire in with the ball taking a slight deflection. Brandon reduced the deficit after 19 minutes when Grant Hickman was left unmarked at a corner and he headed in. Brandon went level two minutes later as the ball was played down the left and moved inside to the unmarked Craig Hindmarch and he fired home with his shot taking a deflection off a defender. Chester regained the lead after 35 minutes when Michael Hepplewhite moved down the left and he fired a low cross which White turned in from close range. Brandon restored parity after 64 minutes with Lee Blades firing home. Brandon missed a golden opportunity after 67 minutes when a corner from the right was played to the far side for Niall Fingleton to run in unchallenged but he put his header wide of the target from close range. Under 18 player Connor Eden made his first team debut coming on after 50 mins to replace captian, Kieran Megran
